Asset Inventory
Directed Energy will maintain a database of regional assets that will be of use to individuals and companies who are looking for strategic partners, vendors, customers, or other purposes. This searchable database will continue to evolve and allow users to search by technology, region, and/or asset type.
Assets to be included are:
- University research activities
- Facilities (wind tunnels, instrumentation centers, STEP, etc.)
- Uncommon manufacturing capabilities
- Business Assistance Organizations (incubators, SBDC, etc).
- Institutional funding sources
- Ways to access to seed/venture capital
- Manufacturers of clean energy products or services
- Consultants
There will be a clear focus on regional assets, but important assets around the state, Ontario, the United States and even the world will also be listed.
Directed Energy is supplying its format to similar groups in Rochester and Syracuse and other regions so that a WNY user will be able to easily query other NYS regions for similar information.
